Traveler's Notebook Passport Size Planner Setup

Here's a quick glimpse at the inserts I'm currently using for my passport size planner-

1.) Traveler's Notebook Passport Size in brown

2.) Midori Kraft File Folder #010

3.) Midori Elastic band (came with the notebook)

4.) DIY Monthly Calendar insert

5.) DIY Bullet Journaling/Tasks insert

6.) DIY Notes insert

It's been about a month now since I switched out of the regular size notebook into this passport size, and so far, it's been going good. After reading this book, I was inspired to start keeping a simple daily planner, and prioritizing my to-dos according to a 1-10 importance factor, in which I'll be sure to explain details in a later post or video.

One thing I am excited about, too, is the camel color Traveler's Notebook! Turns out that the brand is making it a part of its standard lineup. My hands are just itching to grab one..or two!

  3. Michele: I have a question about Traveler's Notebooks that has been bugging me. When you open the folder to write in one of the three or more notebooks stored inside, do you take it out first? Or can you easily contend with the elastic band and the cramped space? I have a real problem with the basic design. Any advice would be most welcome. I have some advice for you: Arizona's petrified wood is gorgeous, as well as the Petrified Forest and especially the Painted Desert. Would that I lived within driving distance! (Connecticut's magnificent dinosaur trackways are some consolation.)

    1. Hi David. That's a great question. For me, I keep the notebooks in when writing. Although the pages don't lay completely flat (which can be a bother at times), I'm still able to write within them comfortably. Keep in mind, though, that I do not use this notebook as a journal. It's only used for quick notes and tasks. So keeping the inserts within the traveler's notebook isn't too much of a hassle for me as I'm usually in and out of it within 5 minutes.
