Snippets of the Traveler's Notebook

For a split second, I was enjoying the Webster's Pages Traveler's Notebook (in the color Tan, purchased at Joann). All of the pockets, the multiple elastic bands, the extra size. Those features made it really fun to play around with the setup. I even made a video sharing my thoughts and quick comparison between the Webster's Pages vs Midori Traveler's Notebook. What are your thoughts between the two?
The Olive Edition is now out, but after receiving my order, I quickly resold it to another loving journaler. After seeing multiple unboxings and Instagram pictures of this new Olive color, I realized that the Traveler's Notebook Olive Edition is more of a darker moss green instead of a brighter olive green that I imagined it to be. So, no new Olive Edition for me.

One of my favorite parts about customizing the Traveler's Notebook is adding the fun charms. Three out of the four TN notebooks I own have them. Here are 5 different ways to customize your Traveler's Notebook.

And as much as I love my brown Traveler's Notebook (as it was my very first one, after all), I keep getting drawn to use my camel more and more. Although I try to keep the regular size camel TN for travels, I've been slowly working on the new passport size setup. (Changing out from my last wallet setup seen here.)

Here's a little snippet of the "favorites" in this planner stack. In order from bottom to top:
- Moleskine Daily Agenda Diary
- Moleskine Sketchbook
- Moleskine Notebook (lined pages)
- Midori Traveler's Notebook in regular size Brown
- Hobonichi Weeks Planner
- Midori Traveler's Notebook in regular size Camel
- Hobonichi Techo A6 (Vintage Flower cover design)
- Moleskine Daily Agenda Pocket Size
- Midori Traveler's Notebook Passport Size in Camel (5th Anniversary)

The new passport size Traveler's Notebook setup is soon to come, by the way...Like in the next day or so. Be sure to stay tuned!

Oh, and as a lover of pocket sized planners, I've got a few little treats on the way. I'll be sure to share pictures and a proper unboxing video once they arrive. If curiosity has piqued your interest, though, here's a little peek of what's soon to come. Oh, and another peek here as well.

  1. I didn't purchase Olive because like you say it was a darker moss green instead of Olive I imagined to be, actually the photo Traveler's Notebook released was quite a nice green look but unboxing online showed otherwise, kinda pity:( If they're to launch another colour what palette would you secretly lust for?

    1. Hi Chloe! I'm glad I'm not the only one that wasn't too excited with the Olive color as well. It's too bad... :( Hmmm, if they were to launch another color I would probably lust over a nice, deep burgundy color. Other than that, I'm actually quite pleased with the camel, brown and black. :) What about you?

    2. Speaking of a bit color disappointment, I think Blue edition has similar problem with Olive, it looks darker in real life and after a while of use it got even darker, hmmm.
I like the Camel the best:) Wish they try warmer color palette next time! Burgundy sounds very royal and elegant!!

  2. I keep seeing more and more unboxings of the olive edition. I only have a Webster's Pages and another brand in the pocket size TN. I've been wanting an official (Midori) TN for awhile now, but have yet to get one. If I do, it will definitely be the Olive edition...if I can find one. XD

    1. Hi Kimmy! If you're interested in purchasing an Olive Edition (at a reasonable price), check out pencils.jp. :) How are you enjoying your Robrasim passport notebook? I watched your unboxing and really enjoyed it! It came with so many goodies!

    2. Hello!
I purchased an olive standard size from an online store that resembles the Midori. I love it!
The Robrasim one, although really cute, turned out to be too small to really enjoy journaling in. Perfect for snip bit notes and whatnot but I found myself forgetting to bring it with me. I'm currently loving this standard size much more than my Color crush.

Hi - I did totally the same thing. All the unboxing videos showed another Product than the official TN websites. And - I am totally in love With my Camel :-)

    1. Yes, it's too bad that the olive color isn't as "green" as hoped. But the camel will always hold a special part in my stationery-fanatic heart. haha. Happy to hear that you're enjoying yours as well!

  4. On any given day, how many notebooks do you have going at the same time? And what are they all used for. I just love how you set up your TN.

    1. Why, thank you! I usually use 2-3 notebooks a day. I use my Law of Attraction planner for work tasks, a daily writing journal (Moleskine) for morning meditations and thoughts, and then another smaller notebook (like my passport size Traveler's Notebook) for quick notes, lists, grocery items, etc. And you? Any notebooks that you're currently enjoying?

    2. I use a personal Filofax for my daily everything. But I just got a new TN and I'm so nervous to set it up. Basically I thought I wanted to use it for a creative journal. But I keep coming up with so many other ideas! Time will tell. Thanks for all your wonderful post.
