Out of curiosity, for my regular blog readers, are you still into reading blogs? Or has your focus shifted to social media posts (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube)? I'd love to know. This will help determine if I should continue on with this blog, or not.
Also, for my Seaweed Kisses readers- What posts interest you the most? Journalings, Traveler's Notebooks, daily planning, arts & crafts? Comment down below, and let me know your thoughts. (It's open to all, even those that wish to remain Anonymous).
Until then, I'll leave you with this beauitful quote for the day:
"I don't know the secret of success - but the secret to failure is to always try to follow the will of others." - Paulo Coelho
I do read blogs! I use Feedly to scan for new and interesting posts. Your blog is beautiful. I follow you on Youtube too, that's how I found you in the first place. I look at Instagram too, but hardly ever log into Facebook anymore.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for taking the time to comment! I appreciate it tremendously! And it's good to know that this little corner here known as Seaweed Kisses still has visitors. :)
DeleteI also use Feedly, and enjoy reading blogs. I like all of the topics you cover, and also enjoy your videos. Like the previous comment, I'm not big into Facebook, though. Having said that, if you are not drawn to blogging, that's okay! Life is too short; do what brings you joy :)
ReplyDeleteI still read blogs! I use The Old Reader to read my favorite blogs (including yours!). I also use Facebook a lot, and although I have an Instagram account, I rarely use it. Linda
ReplyDeleteI still read blogs!!! I love reading your blog and would love to see more posts on daily planning and journaling.
ReplyDeleteI much prefer reading a blog or watching videos on You Tube to using Facebook - especially now. Many people are weaning themselves away from Facebook, and I’m considering eliminating it altogether. I very seldom look at Instagram. I love getting your emails with links to the blog and the You Tube videos. As for the topics I prefer, I’m not into arts and crafts but all the other subjects are fun to read about and watch. You do a great job with your videos. BTW, I have no idea what all the other accounts are, so I selected anonymous. Judy
ReplyDeleteI have blogged for a while then started Instagram and am going back to blogging I think. I am getting really sick of the way Instagram works these days and I miss posts from my favourites because it is no longer chronological. I keep appealing to Instagram without success.
ReplyDeleteAnd then there's the ads!

ReplyDeleteHello! I just found your blog and it's amazing!! And I'm going to keep coming back for more posts you'll post in the future. <3 I think people still read blogs. Aside from me, I have a lot of friends who are still very into it. I think the use of Facebook, Instagram, and even Twitter is to put more exposure to yourself. But the site is the foundation itself. I haven't seen your YouTube yet but I think being out there in other platforms is a good try too. You can just post there when you have something new in your blog. Insta is a good platform for all your pictures because you have good journals!!! And I think it will really appeal to people. I personally think that Twitter is used by people to know more about the person and get more feeds since Twitter is like a platform where you can say whatever you can wherever you are at any moment of the day. Good luck to you! I hope this will encourage you not to take down this blog. xx
ReplyDeleteI love blogs, and especially creative blogs such as yours!
ReplyDeleteblogs all the way!!!
ReplyDeleteI do read blogs and will keep doing it! I use Bloglovin, organize my blogs in areas of interest and decide what to read. I do not use neither Twitter nor Facebook. I use Instagram when I’m too tired for reading, but it never takes the place of blog reading, I just postpone it for when I’m fresher. Let’s say that reading blogs is like reading articles, following Instagram is watching glossy ads, for me
ReplyDeleteI L-O-V-E how you compared the two, IG vs blogs. Great way of describing the differences!
DeleteI enjoy your blog. I like journaling and memoir writing. That sort of thing.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy seeing inside of people's notebooks. Most of the content I encounter comes to me via clicking a link on Facebook though. I've lost touch with my RSS reader.
ReplyDeleteI love everything you are writing about, especially journaling, planners and art journaling. I love your videos. I have spent hours watching them and reading your blog. Thanks for all the wonderful content you write about.
ReplyDeleteI love reading blogs! I use Feedly. I also enjoy Instagram a lot, since I love photography. And when I started getting into stationery and Travelers Notebooks, I found your Youtube. Your videos are wonderful! Thanks for sharing them and writing the blog.
ReplyDeleteI still read blogs! I like instagram, but I especially enjoy reading longer articles and posts.
ReplyDeleteI love your blogs. Have been following you forever. I love the journal parts. But really do love everything that you do. Such great ideas! Keep it up. And Thanks.
ReplyDeleteIt would be such a shame if you stopped your blog, Michelle. I hope a lot you won't, because I always love reading it.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your blog! Please do not stop posting here! I also love your YouTube and IG! You are the best motivation for me!
