The Secret Penpal Scavenger Hunt Project {Revealed}

Last month I took part in Fab's wonderful Secret Penpal Scavenger Hunt. I was so excited for this, and knew it was going to be a fun project. I met Fab on Instagram a while back and immediately became a fan and follower of her blog as well. She's so creative with her art work, and has the cutest stationery freebies.

Out of the 10 project options she had put together, here are the following 5 I chose for my penpal: (Not all of the items are pictured due to the different days I actually finished compiling everything together.)
Included: a handmade card holding Arizona postcards, a desert advert from a magazine, and some dried flowers.

Included: washi tape samples, handmade envelopes and tags, clay coin, and other miscellaneous goodies for any postal lover.

Included: inspirational quotes (from those oh-so-wise fortune cookies) and herbal tea packets.

Included: turquoise earrings from a local gem show, and a coin from Korea. ( I saw that foreign coins were one of the things Natalie listed on her sign-up form, so this was perfect!)

Extra- Audrey Hepburn notepad (she's a big fan), and a little desert "pet"- a mini cactus.

Natalie, my secret pen pal, contacted me immediately after she received her package to tell me how happy she was with the little presents. I'm glad she liked everything because, honestly, it was my first time doing something like this and I was going crazy on ideas that just kept flooding into my little head. I didn't even know where to start!

Definitely check out Natalie's blog, though, and see what she sent her "secret penpal," and more pics of the mail swap project!

Here is the post revealing the package I received from my secret penpal. Make sure to check it out.

Feel free to follow me on Instagram @Seaweedkisses to get all the sneak peaks into my mail art/swap/penpal life, since I don't post much about it on here.

  4. This is lovely and I know how you felt as I was the same but its such a relief when your partner likes it. My mind was also a mess as I kept thinking of too many thing to fit a theme, also some of my items fit more then one so it was hard to decide which one to select. I'm glad I did it though :)

  5. I can't get over how much I love the things you gave me! I have the dream-catcher card taped by my desk, and the little paper goods tucked in my smashbook. As soon as I clean my room I'll figure out a place for the rest! The tea was AMAZING - thanks for getting me started on herbal tea. I love it and have been meaning to buy some for a while but keep forgetting. And the envelopes are gorgeous!! I'll be using them for my letters soon. :) Thanks again! xxo
