Why Keep A Journal?

"Documenting little details of your everyday life becomes a celebration of who you are." - Carolyn V. Hamilton

Journaling has always been my secret outlet for expressing my real and true emotions, values, goals and dreams. It's been a bridge leading me to a clearer and more authentic self. It's been a great tool in tracking my overall development and allowing me to see the certain events that have contributed to my own personal growth. It's my haven, my judgement-free zone.

Why do you journal?

(Looking for that "perfect" journal to get you started? Here's a video I made sharing what qualities I look for when finding the ideal writing journal. Currently I'm using a Large Moleskine Daily Agenda.)

  1. I've been trying to keep a journal for a long while, but I never really stuck with it... But now you have gotten me thinking about benefits that I never really though about before...!!! Thanks for this post. I will start writing in a journal again, and it will definitely help me a lot!!!

  2. I tried to keep a journal a couple of times, but it didn't work out. I don't know why. Maybe I never take it seriously. But I'm pretty sure a journal helps you see how you change. Now when I work for an essay writing place, I realize how important it is to track what has happened to you for the last few years
