Hobonichi Planners for 2016

In just a few more weeks the Hobonichi website will have their 2016 lineup available for sale. Anyone just as excited? Here is a little preview of their selection.

I've already started on my wishlist, and I'm seriously considering trying out their weeks planner version. So many cute covers to choose from as well.
After seeing AKCarabo's review on it, this would be something that may help keep track of my work schedule in a more simplified version, as I'm currently carrying around the cousin size.

For those active on Facebook, you can follow more updates on the Hobonichi Planner line through their page here, which is thankfully updated in English.

  1. I'm SO in need of a new planner. More than that, I'm in need of an organization of my life!

    1. Hi Maddie! I know exactly how you feel! Daily planners have always worked for my in terms of helping to organize my life. I hope one will help you just as much! By the way, some of these covers reminded me of you in a sense that they have fabric covers. I bet you would make such beautiful sewn pattern for any notebook!

  2. I absolutely love the weeks with one big exception. The paper. I know it's the same as the Techo but, for me, the bleed through was terrible and I couldn't get used to it. I don't notice it in the Techo but in the weeks, it completely threw me off. But the book, the shape, everything else was just awesome.

    1. The shape and size of the weeks planner was what first caught my eye. However, I'm not really a fan of thin paper that shows signs of bleed through. Hmm, good to know that you experienced this as I'll have to strongly keep this in mind when making the final decision on this purchase. Thank you so much for sharing! I appreciate it!

  3. Do you by any chance know how to have their webpage translated to English? --Sorry to ask on your comment section, but I love the Plaid cover and clicked on the webpage, but there is an obvious language barrier for me.
Thanks! Loving your youtube channel, btw! :)

    1. Hi Liz! Yes, they'll have their English page up for 2016 I believe by September. I just linked their preview page (which was only in Japanese for now) in the meantime. I apologize for any confusion. This is the page I normally use for purchases- http://www.1101.com/store/techo/2015/planner

      Hope this helps!

  4. Thanks so much for mentioning me in your blog. I love the Weeks but actually stopped using it when I got a planner from Ban.do. That said...I really find myself missing it and plan to get a new one for next year, along with a Cousin. I am looking forward to the new release...some of those covers are adorable. Do you have a favorite?

    1. Hi Cara! Of course! And thank you for making that video! I find it extremely helpful when people post videos of things/products that are a little more hard to find, especially if they're coming over internationally. A video can capture more of an overall feel of something, especially planners! ;)

Oh, yes! I've seen the Ban.do planners and think they're so pretty! Love all the bright colors and design.

As far as the upcoming hobonichi cover designs goes, there are a few that caught my eye, such as the red and black leather ones. Although I'm not much of a Hello Kitty fan anymore, I did find it cute that they made that red cover. It's so adorable, especially with those two bookmark bows. For the weeks, I'm currently eyeballing the black polka dot one, and the yellow mother2 design. The Weeks covers are all so nice...but a little pricey for my wallet..
