This happy mail from Tammy had me jumping with joy. For those that are new to my blog or may not be aware, I have a slight obsession with collecting and using daily planners. You would have thought that I would have had a Filofax hidden somewhere in my pile by now, but surprisingly I didn't. I have been looking though, and admiring the pictures of others through Instagram. (The daily planner community is such a wonderful thing, let me just tell you.) But being that I had just purchased my Midori and Hobonichi, I felt a little guilty and didn't want to get careless or commit to any mindless spending.
But now, here it is. My very first Filofax! I can't wait to start putting it to use. This will definitely come in handy for the new year.
Inside Tammy also tucked in some beautiful postcards and paper goods. The whole package was just so sweet of her.
I can't express my gratitude enough,Tammy! Thank you so much for thinking of me and handing down your beloved planner.
It's just amazing how social media can connect you to people all over the world. Believe it or not, I came across Tammy's blog 3 years ago after googling "minimalism", "simple living," and things of that nature. It inspired me in so many ways that I've been a silent follower of hers ever since (I'm not one to really leave comments and such.) So, to have a connection with someone that I've admired all these years is just beyond delightful.
And speaking of minimalism, I will try to wrap up my post on that soon. I know things have been a little quiet around here with just "mail" posts to help fill in the emptiness, but I've been transitioning into a different lifestyle so to speak. So I'll explain all of that at a later time.
